Three Piano Trios

Konzert für Pianoforte und Orchester Nr. 20 in D minor, K. 466 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: The first movement of Beethoven's Piano Trio Op. 1 No. 1 opens with a similar figure to that of the third movement of Mozart's 20th Piano Concerto.

Streichquintett in C minor, Op. 104 by Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Trio Op. 1 No. 3 was arranged as a string quintet and published as Op. 104

Unlike the other piano trios in this opus, the third trio does not have a scherzo as its third movement but a minuet instead.
